Thesis topic: 'Exploring the visual language of Yolngu: a multimodal semiotic analysis'

Haoyi has a background in linguistics and art history, having graduated with an honours degree at the University of Melbourne in 2018. She is now working under the supervision of Jane Simpson and Howard Morphy on the linguistics and art practices of the Yolŋu people in Arnhem Land, NT.
